According to News1 on Sep. 3, 2020, Big Hit is preparing the acquisition of Zico's independent company.

SPC group's Baskin Robbins Korea come up with a 'new flavor of the month' ice cream.

Baskin Robbins have collaborated with the cereal brand, Kellogg's to release 'Mashups Cereal' flavor, start from September 1st.

'Mashups Cereal' is combined with 'Corn Frost' ice ream and 'Chex Chocolate' ice cream together. They also added chocolate coated chex choco crumbles inside to enhance the texture of the ice cream.

On Aug. 25, 2020, McDonald's Korea announced that they will bring back their 'wedge fries'. The fries will go on sale for limited time, start from Sep. 3rd to Oct. 21st.

The wedge fries are loved by McDonald's fanatics by its soft texture and garlic & onion seasonings.

McDonald's Korea will offer dipping sauce as well, which consist of sweet, chili, and cajun flavor. Customers can choose one sauce for free upon purchase of the fries.

Medium size wedge fries will sell for 2,100 KRW and large size will go for 2,800 KRW. You can also upgrade your regular fries to wedge fries on your McDonald's burger combo by pay extra 500 KRW more.

The officials at McDonald's Korea, said they are hoping that customers can enjoy variety of their side menus and experience the limited time-serving, wedge fries at their restaurant.

Meanwhile, McDonald's Korea sold curly fries and waffle fries previously.

'Samgye-tang', the Korean traditional ginseng chicken soup is a well-known remedy for body health during hot summer days.

Kyochon, one of the popular franchise chicken brands in Korea released, 'Kyochon Soo Samgye-tang', a home ready meal version.

Spam's website posted classical recipe for 'Budae Jigae'. They named it, 'Classic Budae Jigae Army Stew'.

Spam and canned meat was introduced to Korea during and after WWII. As time passed, this American canned meat is incorporated and mixed with Korean way of cooking. Later it turned into 'budae jigae', a perfect fusion dish for people who love hot, spicy, and savory stew.

Some people consider 'budae jigae' as their soul-food.

Here is the recipe that introduced by Spam's official website.

Ingredients: Spam, sausage, ground pork, canned beans, tofu, kimchi, onions, mushrooms, instant ramen, chili powder, Korean chili paste, minced garlic, soy sauce, ground pepper powder, chicken stock, green onion, and rice.

1. Bake spam until they turn golden brown.

2. In a large pot put spam, pork, canned beans, sausage, tofu, kimchi, onion and mushroom. Put ramen noodle on top.

3. Prepare soup seasoning mixture by combine instant ramen soup powder, chili powder, Korean chili paste, garlic, soy sauce, ground pepper powder together.

4. Put the soup seasoning mixture to the prepared pot and pour chicken stock.

5. Boil them to 5-6 minutes on medium heat, when noodle gets soften put green onion on top.

6. Eat with rice.

On Aug. 25, 2020, KT exclusively released Samsung's 'Galaxy Buds Live' red colorway. Currently, Samsung electronics is selling 'Galaxy Buds Live' in black, white, bronze colors.

Earlier, KT released 'Galaxy Note 20 5G' smartphone in red color exclusively. Half of the people who were purchased the phone choose this particular color, which was a big hit.

Also, KT chose Black Pink's Jennie as the model for their phone and shoot a commercial.
