"진짜가 나타났다" 호주에 등장한 악마의 음료

'악마의 음료'

이는 스타벅스에서 바리스타에게 직접 제조를 부탁해 마실 수 있는 특정 음료를 부르는 말이다. 일반적으로 샷을 추가한 그린티 프라푸치노에 자바칩을 갈아 넣고 휘핑크림과 시럽 초코드리즐을 올린 벤티 사이즈 음료를 말한다. 900kcal가 넘는 고칼로리와 한번 먹어보면 헤어나올 수 없는 매력 때문에 '악마'라는 말이 붙었다고 전해진다.

그런데 이를 훌쩍 뛰어넘는 '악마'가 등장했다.

호주 캔버라의 작은 카페 파티셰즈(Pâtissez)에서 파는 밀크셰이크가 SNS에서 인기몰이 중이다. 파티셰즈는 4가지 셰이크를 내놨다. 각 9.5달러(약 8000원)에 팔린다.

Alright boys & girls a few notes before yet another loony weekend! Our shakes are definitely becoming worthy of their title! '악마의 잼' 누텔라가 듬뿍 들어가고 프렛젤이 군데군데 박힌 음료, 브라우니 한 덩어리가 얹혀있는 음료 등 보기만 해도 군침이 흐르다 못해 느끼하기까지 한 사진들이 인터넷에 올라오고 있다.

카페 공동창업자 안나 페트리디스(Anna Petridis)는 호주 캔버라타임즈와의 인터뷰에서 "나는 정말 굉장하고, 한편으로는 말도 안되는 셰이크를 만들고 싶었다. 어떻게 말하면, 사람들이 먹기 전 사진을 찍고 싶게 만드는 그런 셰이크 말이다"라고 밝혔다.

개업한 지 7주 정도 밖에 안 된 이 가게는 최근 호주 방송 채널7 '마이 키친 룰(My Kitchen Rules)'에도 소개됐다.

안나는 채널7과의 인터뷰에서 "우리는 음식 산업에 거대한 꿈이 있다"면서 "레스토랑뿐만 아니라, 우리는 하나의 제국을 건설할 거다"라고 말했다.
