Ji Yeon-soo, Divorced from U-KISS’s Eli, Says BIGBANG’s G-Dragon ‘Saved Me and My Son’

Actress Ji Yeon-soo recently revealed her admiration for BIGBANG’s G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong) through a touching Instagram post on December 7. In her heartfelt message, Ji Yeon-soo reflected on a difficult time in her life and how G-Dragon’s music, particularly the song 'Crooked', became a source of comfort and strength.

Actress Ji Yeon-soo, divorced from former U-KISS member Eli and shares a son, Min-su. She wrote, “How much you’ve grown, Minsu. December 3, 2015, was the saddest day of my life. It was so different from the joy I felt in September when I learned I was pregnant with you. That day, I thought my future had crumbled, and I would never stand again.”

Ji continued, “While Minsu was growing inside me and I couldn’t do anything, this song saved both of us. Listening to it hundreds of times over the years, I realized how incredible it is that music alone can save someone’s world.”

In the video shared with her post, Ji Yeon-soo can be seen singing along to G-Dragon’s 'Crooked'. Her son Minsu, upon hearing the song, remarked, “This song feels a bit rough and sad,” catching the attention of viewers.

Expressing her gratitude and love for her son, Ji Yeon-soo added, “Thank you for always being with me. I’ll work harder to ensure I can tell you every day how happy I am. And thank you for practicing 'Crooked' to sing it for me at Christmas.”
