Speaking about the project, Woo shared, “I wanted to portray the mindset and resilience of the independence fighters, even just a fraction of it.” The film has already received critical acclaim after being screened at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, where its breathtaking visuals and poignant narrative were praised.
