During the press conference, Jeon Yeo-been was asked about working with Song Hye-kyo.
On December 16(KST), a press conference for the upcoming film 'The Priests 2: Dark Nuns(hereafter referred to as Dark Nuns)' was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul. Director Kwon Hyuk-jae, along with cast members Song Hye-kyo, Jeon Yeo-been, Lee Jin-wook, and Moon Woo-jin, attended the event to share insights about the film.

'Dark Nuns' tells the story of individuals who embark on a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. Song Hye-kyo stars as Sister Unia, a determined and fearless nun who risks everything to save the boy, while Jeon Yeo-been plays Sister Michaela, who decides to assist Sister Unia despite the chaos surrounding them.
During the press conference, Jeon Yeo-been was asked about working with Song Hye-kyo for the first time. She began, “When I was a student…” but was cut off by Song Hye-kyo jokingly saying, “Don’t say things like that!” drawing laughter from the press.
Jeon Yeo-been continued, "She’s an actress I’ve admired since my school days—a goddess of aspiration, someone I’ve always wanted to meet and emulate. At the 2023 Blue Dragon Series Awards, when she won the Grand Prize, I was so moved by her performance that I waited just to make eye contact and greet her as a fan and a junior." She added, "I already admired her deeply, but getting to work with her in this project was a dream come true."

On calling Song Hye-kyo “my Unia” on set, Jeon explained, “In my life, I affectionately call the most precious friends ‘my +[their name].’ On the set of 'Dark Nuns,' Eunia, or rather Song Hye-kyo, was like a warm guiding light. Everyone would agree—she has a quiet charisma that embraces everyone around her.”
'Dark Nuns' is scheduled for release on January 24, 2024.
