On December 22(KST), Kim Tae-ri, who won the Grand Prize at last year’s awards, appeared on stage with Lee Je-hoon to present this year’s Grand Prize at the event held at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul.

Before the announcement, Lee Je-hoon remarked, “Tae-ri, SBS dramas have received immense love from viewers again in 2024, just like last year, haven’t they?” Kim Tae-ri responded affirmatively but then accidentally said, “This year, MBC…” before trailing off, realizing her mistake. Flustered, she gasped and quickly explained, “I’m so nervous…” while apologizing profusely, even turning to the actors in the audience to say, “I’m really sorry.”

Lee Je-hoon reassured her with a smile, saying, “It’s okay. That’s the charm of live broadcasting.” The actors in the audience responded with warm smiles and applause, and Kim Tae-ri covered her mouth with her hand, visibly embarrassed.

The moment gained significant attention online, with the clip spreading quickly on YouTube. Netizens reacted with delight, leaving comments such as, “Lee Je-hoon’s sense of humor is unmatched, and Kim Tae-ri is just too cute,” “This makes the awards even more fun,” “Her reaction was adorable,” and “Mistakes happen—she handled it gracefully!”
