Actor Song Joong-ki appeared as a guest on MBC FM4U’s Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon on December 24, where he shared his thoughts and updates ahead of the release of his upcoming film Bogotá: City of the Lost.

During the show, Song Joong-ki mentioned his busy schedule promoting Bogotá and revealed that he is currently filming the new JTBC drama My Youth, emphasizing his dedication to his craft. Reflecting on his 16-year career, he expressed a growing sense of responsibility, saying, “I feel that my sense of responsibility continues to grow. One reason is that I now have a family, but also because I deeply feel the love from the public. I can’t act carelessly.”

As a song request for listeners, Song Joong-ki selected Adult, an OST from the drama My Mister. Explaining his choice, he said, “This is a song from the drama My Mister, which many people love. I wanted to share it with you.”

He then shared that he recently began rewatching My Mister, which brought back memories of the late Lee Sun-kyun. “A few days from now marks the anniversary of my beloved hyung, Lee Sun-kyun. I miss him so much,” he said, expressing his heartfelt longing.

Song Joong-ki also reflected on his cherished memories with Lee Sun-kyun, who passed away on December 27 last year. He recalled their first meeting in the 2009 MBC drama Triple, when he was still a rookie actor. “While I was waiting for my first scene, Sun-kyun hyung called me over, saying, ‘Kiddo, come here.’ He treated me to jjajangmyeon and even shared drinks with me. He really looked after me,” Song Joong-ki reminisced, highlighting Lee Sun-kyun’s warm and considerate nature.

Earlier in October, during the 29th Busan International Film Festival, Song Joong-ki was seen tearfully watching a tribute video for Lee Sun-kyun, who was posthumously awarded the Korean Cinema Contribution Award. The moment highlighted the late actor’s enduring legacy and his profound impact on those he worked with.
