K-pop Legends Reunite: CL's Surprise Appearance!
On the April 6 episode of MBC’s variety show 'Good Day', all cast members gathered for the first official group meeting—and fans were in for a surprise. CL, the iconic leader of 2NE1, joined the lineup, and her presence immediately sparked excitement.

G-Dragon introduced CL by saying, “She’s my little sister. Someone I trust. I invited her because we needed a real pro’s touch.” The two, both formerly under YG Entertainment, are well-known for their long-standing friendship and collaborations. Most recently, CL appeared as a special guest at G-Dragon’s solo concert, showing her unwavering support.

During the meeting, aespa warmly greeted CL, and member Winter revealed that she had a special connection with the veteran artist. “I’m a huge fan,” Winter said, adding that she had attended 2NE1’s concert last year. CL recalled, “That’s when I first met her. She even came to the after-party, and we had some great conversations. I was really thankful.”
Last year, CL also posted a photo with several female K-pop artists, including Winter, captioning it: “Much love to all the girlz who pulled up n showed love. More power to us. K-POP girlz 4L.”
Behind the Scenes: Controversy Leads to Full Edit-Out
While the reunion between CL and Winter warmed hearts, the episode also drew attention for a different reason—the complete edit-out of actor Kim Soo-hyun.
Following ongoing controversy over his alleged past relationship with Kim Sae-ron, which reportedly began when she was still a minor, the show’s producers appeared to remove him from all footage.
Not a single scene featuring Kim Soo-hyun aired. To ensure a clean cut, the production team even split the screen and added white lines to edit around him, making the removal unmistakable.
