From Girls' Generation to Talent Mentor!
Sunny of Girls’ Generation is making a fresh start with A2O Entertainment, the company founded by her uncle and former SM Entertainment executive producer Lee Soo-man. On April 10, A2O Entertainment confirmed.

“We recently signed an exclusive contract with Sunny. She is currently undergoing production training under the guidance of producer Yoo Young-jin.”
The company added that Sunny is actively involved in various aspects of the agency's development, including mentoring and supporting A2O trainees. “She is helping design the trainees’ training programs, providing psychological support, participating in video content production, and even offering styling and choreography guidance.”
A2O Entertainment further stated, “We’re deeply grateful for the love and interest shown toward Sunny and look forward to presenting her in new and exciting ways.” On April 7, the agency uploaded a video titled “A2O Trainee Summer Training Camp 2024 Highlights” to its official YouTube channel. In the video, Sunny was seen monitoring the trainees’ vocal recording sessions in the studio, drawing attention from fans.

Lee Soo-man, who left SM Entertainment in 2023 following a high-profile management dispute, went on to establish A2O Entertainment. The company is currently headquartered overseas and is working on launching a new idol group.
Sunny debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and is well known as the niece of Lee Soo-man. After parting ways with SM Entertainment in 2023, she stepped away from the spotlight, with little known about her activities—until now. Her move to A2O marks her return to the industry and has reignited interest in her next chapter.
