A Silent Hero: Beyond the Screen.
Korean actor Park Seo-jun has touched hearts with a quiet act of generosity that only recently came to light — and it saved a life.

On April 29, Park shared a handwritten letter on his social media. But it wasn’t written by him — it was a deeply personal note from the family of a patient who received a life-saving stem cell transplant, made possible by Park’s anonymous donation.
According to the letter, the patient — a child diagnosed with a brain tumor in January last year — and their family endured an unimaginably difficult time, both emotionally and financially. But hope returned thanks to Park’s support.
The child reportedly found new strength after learning that the donor was none other than Park Seo-jun. They even expressed a wish to personally thank the actor one day.
“Your noble support gave us hope and courage,” the family wrote, adding that they’re now inspired to help others in turn.
Park responded with humility, writing beneath the letter: “I’m reminded once again to live life with purpose. Let’s meet again, healthy and smiling.”
He also shared another letter, this time from Samsung Medical Center, where the surgery took place. The hospital acknowledged Park’s donation, saying, “You, the donor who gave a patient the courage to rise again and the hope to keep living, are like spring to us.”
Meanwhile, Park Seo-jun is set to return to the small screen soon, having confirmed his role in JTBC’s upcoming drama ‘Waiting for the Kyung-do’(Working Title).
