Love, Music, and Personal Growth.
K-pop star HyunA is back—and this time, she’s bringing more than just a new song. On the May 4 episode of SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show”, the 18-year veteran shared her recent updates, including married life with singer Yong Jun-hyung and her artistic vision for her comeback.

Inspired by fleeting beauty, driven by passion
HyunA appeared on the show to promote her latest single “Mrs. Nail”, a bold and poetic track inspired by the Korean saying “flowers don’t last ten days”. Explaining the meaning behind the song, she said, “If no flower can bloom for ten days, then I’ll become the nail that’s driven in deeper. That’s the spirit behind this track.”
She added with a smile, “I wasn’t sure if I should be dancing this hard again—but here I am.”
Eighteen years on stage, and still burning bright
Reflecting on her long career, HyunA said, “I’m feeling more grateful these days. I find myself wanting to know how long I can stay passionate on stage.” She also hinted at more to come: “I’m working on an album because I want my fans to enjoy a wide variety of music. I think I’ll be able to share it with you within the year.”

Life after ‘I do’
HyunA tied the knot with former Highlight member Yong Jun-hyung in a private ceremony last October in Seoul. Now eight months into married life, she shared candidly, “Every day flies by—it’s been a whirlwind.” She also revealed that her husband played a big part in supporting her comeback: “He really helped a lot with this album.”
