Nostalgic Reunion: A Decade of Friendship!
Actor Yoo Yeon-seok brought smiles to fans as he reminisced about his very first meeting with fellow actor Gong Myung—an encounter that happened more than a decade ago.

On the May 6 episode of SBS’s variety show Whenever Possible, actors Cha Seung-won and Gong Myung appeared as the first guests of the new season. The duo joined hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok for an episode filled with laughter, warm stories, and nostalgic moments.
Gong Myung revealed that it had been six years since he last saw Yoo Jae-suk, from his appearance on Running Man. As for Yoo Yeon-seok, he shared a surprising connection with Gong Myung that dates back to a music video shoot over ten years ago.

The two starred together in the music video for “Three People”, a duet by Toy (Yoo Hee-yeol) and Sung Si-kyung. Yoo Yeon-seok fondly recalled, “Even while filming, I had this feeling—he was going to make it big.”
Gong Myung returned the praise with a touching story: “We filmed in Jeju Island. I still remember—he treated me to bomal mi-yeok-guk (seaweed soup). Yoo Yeon-seok is older than me and I was really grateful.”
Throwback clips from the 2014 music video showed a 30-year-old Yoo Yeon-seok and 20-year-old Gong Myung in their early acting days. The two shared a playful chemistry on set, with Gong Myung even clinging to Yoo’s arm—a moment that drew mock jealousy from Cha Seung-won during the broadcast.

SBS’s Whenever Possible is a variety show that surprises guests and viewers alike with joyful moments during life’s everyday breaks. The program airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST.
