On May 8, Inyeon Entertainment announced, “We have signed exclusive contracts with all six members of MOMOLAND—Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. They will resume group activities together under the name MOMOLAND.”

The new contracts are especially meaningful, as the group will retain their original name and continue promoting with the full lineup intact.

Inyeon Entertainment added, “MOMOLAND is a group known for both talent and individuality. Going forward, they plan to expand their activities through domestic and international performances, as well as new music releases. We will fully support them so they can return to the stage more mature and stronger than ever.”

The members also shared their excitement, saying, “We’re truly happy and excited to greet our fans, Merry, once again as a complete group. We’re working hard to repay your love with even better music and performances.”

MOMOLAND debuted in 2016 as a seven-member group, later expanding to nine members. After Daisy and Taeha left the group and Yeonwoo transitioned into acting, the team was restructured into six members. The group halted activities after their exclusive contracts with MLD Entertainment expired in January 2023.

Many fans assumed the group had disbanded—making this surprise reunion all the more emotional and buzzworthy, especially after a two-year hiatus.

Since their debut in 2016, MOMOLAND has proven their global appeal with hit songs like “BBoom BBoom,” “BAAM,” and “I’m So Hot,” known for their addictive sound and signature energy.
