A New Chapter in Love: AOA's Dohwa Finds Her Soulmate!
Former AOA member Dohwa (previously known as Chanmi) has surprised fans with the news of her upcoming wedding.

On May 8, Dohwa personally shared the news on her Instagram, writing a heartfelt message to fans who have supported her throughout her journey.
“There’s something I want to share directly with those who have watched over me and cheered me on,” she wrote. “I’ve met someone I want to walk the rest of my life with, and we will be getting married this June.”
Describing her fiancé, she added, “He’s someone who has warmly supported me through every moment and stayed by my side—a truly kind and grateful person. I hope to slowly introduce him to you all soon.”
She also asked for blessings from fans, saying, “It would mean so much if you could warmly bless our future together and keep us in your prayers. I imagine many of my acquaintances will be hearing this for the first time through this post—I’ll be reaching out to each of you soon.”
Dohwa debuted in 2012 as the youngest member of girl group AOA, gaining popularity with hit songs such as “Miniskirt,” “Short Hair,” and “Heart Attack.”
She later changed her stage name to Dohwa and left FNC Entertainment last year to begin a new chapter in her career.

Full Letter From Dohwa’s Instagram Post 💍:
Hello, this is Dohwa. 🌸
There’s something I wanted to share personally with everyone who has supported and stood by me all this time, so I’m writing this message. :)
I’ve met someone I want to walk the days ahead with, and we’ll be getting married this coming June. He’s someone who has warmly supported me through every moment, stayed by my side, and truly been kind and caring. I think I’ll be able to slowly introduce him to you all soon.
If you could bless our future with your warm hearts and keep us in your prayers, it would mean the world to me.
P.S. I know there may be friends and acquaintances who are hearing about my wedding for the first time through this post. I’m truly sorry for not reaching out sooner—I’ll be contacting each of you personally without delay. 💌
