On May 14, Vogue Korea revealed the two versions of its June cover featuring all five members of ILLIT — Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha — through its official social media channels.

In one cover, the girls flaunt a soft, romantic vibe in pastel-toned outfits, radiating a bubbly charm. On the flip side, the black-and-white version captures their transformation into cool, sophisticated style icons, proving they can effortlessly pull off both looks.

During the accompanying interview, the members opened up about their identity. “Our on-stage concept may be cute or sometimes intense, but off-stage we’re just playful high school girls,” they said.

“That’s who we are — that’s ILLIT.” They added, “At the heart of our music is honesty.”

Since their debut, ILLIT has been meeting fans through a wide range of activities. Their March 2024 debut single “Magnetic” dominated Japan’s music charts and short-form platforms alike, quickly establishing their presence overseas.

The group’s impact was recognized at major Japanese music awards. They won the Rookie of the Year award at the 66th Japan Record Awards and were the most-awarded female K-pop act at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards, taking home three trophies.

Coming up, ILLIT is set to perform at the Rock in Japan Festival 2025 in September, having secured a spot in the first official lineup. They’ve made history as the first-ever K-pop girl group invited to the festival. Celebrating its 26th year, the Rock in Japan Festival is one of Japan’s “Big Four” rock festivals, drawing over 275,000 attendees in 2024 alone.

In Korea, ILLIT will also appear at several university festivals as well as the 2025 Weverse Con Festival in May. In June, they’ll meet fans in person at 2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL, taking place at Olympic Hall on June 7 and 8.
