FIFTY FIFTY files a lawsuit for the termination of the exclusive contract
The majority of the copyright for 'CUPID' belongs to The Givers
Reports have emerged stating that the financial settlement of the group FIFTY FIFTY(Saena, Keena, Aran, Sio) is still in the red.

Earlier, the FIFTY FIFTY group raised issues against ATTRAKT, stating, "They failed to fulfill their contractual obligations, including non-transparent settlements and pushing ahead with activities despite difficult health conditions." They announced that they filed an application for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the exclusive contract.
However, according to the Korean entertainment media outlet Dispatch, on the 4th day, it was reported that FIFTY FIFTY's financial settlement is still in the negative. According to Dispatch, CEO Jeon Hong-jun stated that they have provided full support to FIFTY FIFTY. From December 2019 to the end of 2020, they paid monthly training costs of 20 to 30 million won for trainees. They also invested over 1 billion won in music video production. They provided accommodation, costing around 2.7 million won per month, to prevent the artists from feeling discouraged. Moreover, They even sold foreign cars and watches, and added an additional 90 million won of their own money to debut FIFTY FIFTY.
However, it was An Sung-il who gained the most profit when FIFTY FIFTY's song "CUPID" became a hit. Dispatch revealed that An Sung-il (SIAHN) holds a 28.65% share of the copyright for "CUPID," while a staff member of The Givers holds 4%, Keena (Song Ja-kyung) holds 0.5%, and The Givers holds 66.85%. Although the song was created by a Swedish student, An Sung-il bought the rights from the composer for $90,000 in January. Therefore, according to reports, the majority of the revenue from "CUPID" appears to have gone to An Sung-il's side.
Additionally, CEO Jeon Hong-jun claimed in an interview with Dispatch that they did not push for activities while disregarding the members' health conditions. He explained, "I entrusted it to The Givers' staff member B, who said they would take good care of them. It seems that trusting too much has become the source of trouble."
On the other hand, ATTRAKT recently filed a criminal complaint with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station against CEO An Sung-il and three others, accusing them of obstruction of business, destruction of electronic records, fraud, and embezzlement in the course of their duties.
Meanwhile, The Givers stated that they will take legal action against continuous dissemination of false information through false complaints and the media.
CEO Jeon Hong-jun is scheduled to attend court on the 5th day for the legal proceedings of the injunction to suspend the exclusive contract.
