FIFTY FIFTY producer Ahn Sung-il is facing allegations of forging the signatures of Swedish composers during the process of changing the ownership shares of the song “Cupid.”
The Givers CEO Ahn Sung-il has been embroiled in allegations of forging the signature of Swedish composers to secure the rights to the hit song "Cupid" by FIFTY FIFTY. The Givers have stated that they are currently in the process of verifying the allegations.

On the 17th, Dispatch revealed the ownership change confirmation document submitted by Ahn Sung-il to the Copyright Association. According to the ownership change confirmation, the three Swedish composers' 74.5 percent stake has been transferred to Ahn Sung-il and The Givers. As a result, The Givers' ownership has increased to 95.5%, while the Swedish composers' ownership has become 0%. The lyricist share of FIFTY FIFTY member Keena has also decreased from 6.5% to 0.5%.
The issue at hand is whether the process of changing the copyright ownership was carried out legally. Dispatch reported that Ahn Sung-il forged the signatures of the Swedish composers and submitted them to the Copyright Association. The media outlet commissioned a forensic examination, and the results showed discrepancies between the genuine signatures of the three composers and the signatures in the ownership change confirmation document.
Dispatch also pointed out that ATTRAKT, the agency representing FIFTY FIFTY, was completely unaware of the ownership change process. The media outlet reported that Ahn Sung-il paid money to the three Swedish composers, Adam von Mentzer, Mac Fellander, and Louise Udin, without ATTRAKT's knowledge, separate from the $9,000 payment made by ATTRAKT to the composers for the song. According to the service contract, The Givers, as a service provider, is required to go through prior consultation with ATTRAKT, their affiliated agency, when conducting business related to FIFTY FIFTY.
The Givers are currently in the process of verifying the facts regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, ATTRAKT, the agency representing FIFTY FIFTY, and The Givers, the service provider, have been engaged in a dispute over member poaching and obstruction of business activities.
