AKMU Set to Make a Summer Comeback

AKMU(Akdong Musician, Lee Chanhyuk, and Lee Suhyun) is making a comeback.

According to a report from Edaily on the 25th, AKMU will release a new song at the end of August. YG Entertainment stated on the same day, "AKMU is currently working on the latter part of the album with the goal of a summer comeback," and added, "We will provide more details once they are confirmed."

This upcoming release will be AKMU's first new song in about two years since their collaboration album 'NEXT EPISODE' was released in July 2021. Throughout their career, including albums like the first full-length album 'PLAY,' the first mini-album '思春記 上 (Puberty Part.1),' the second full-length album '思春記 下 (Puberty Part.2),' and the third full-length album 'SAILING,' AKMU has consistently topped the music charts with their fresh and meaningful music, transcending specific genres. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new music and message that AKMU will present after a long hiatus.

AKMU first gained recognition through the SBS audition program 'K-pop Star Season 2' in 2013. Their witty lyrics and relatable music at the time earned them the love of many people.
