'Fashion Reality': What Happens When Other Guys Wears G-Dragon’s Iconic Chanel Look? (ft. IVE’s Agency)

Is luxury all about the label — or who's wearing it? Korean ballad powerhouse K.Will turned heads when he flaunted a Chanel bag famously carried by none other than G-Dragon… but the reactions weren’t quite what he expected.

On the April 23rd episode of MBC’s long-running variety show ‘Radio Star’, K.Will appeared alongside actors Go Jun, Kim Poong, and singer Kangnam for the episode titled “The Ultimate Middle-Aged Man Special.”

To the surprise of many, K.Will revealed that he's a huge fashion enthusiast who owns a variety of vintage designer pieces and keeps a close eye on the fashion scene. He even arrived on set in what he claimed was head-to-toe luxury. But that didn’t stop the other guests from poking fun. “Doesn’t really scream designer,” they joked.

Chanel, But Make It… Uncle-core?

K.Will proudly stepped forward to show off his Chanel bag — the very same model that sparked a frenzy when Chanel ambassador G-Dragon was spotted wearing it at the airport. But instead of praise, he was met with playful jabs.

“It kind of gives stylish auntie vibes,” said comedian Jang Do-yeon. “Looks like he’s waiting outside the restroom for his girlfriend,” added writer Kim Poong. K.Will took it in stride, laughing as he shared a real-life incident: “I actually wore this to a baseball game and someone who recognized me came up and said, ‘Oh, you here with your girlfriend?’”

He clarified, “This is the same bag G-Dragon used. When I bought it, people asked me if I was trying to copy him. You can even wear it cross body — that’s why I got it!”

While K.Will might come across as low-key and easygoing, his resume says otherwise. He’s actually a board director at Starship Entertainment, home to top K-pop acts like IVE and MONSTA X. “I’m the only artist on the roster who also has the title of director,” he shared. “I’ve even personally invested in the company and receive a regular executive salary.”

He also revealed that he participates in executive meetings and is currently involved in planning the debut of a new boy group.

When asked how it felt to receive his first executive paycheck, K.Will beamed, “It was fun. Really felt like I’d joined the workforce.” He added with a laugh, “The company perks are great — we get holiday bonuses and wellness points too!” Host Kim Gu-ra joked, “Your face even looks more like a salaryman now,” drawing laughter from everyone on set.
