BTS has ranked as the most beloved K-pop star on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, in 2024.

According to Spotify's year-end data released on the 5th, BTS ranked as the K-pop artist with the most streams, recording 3.9 billion streams this year. BTS members Jungkook (2nd place) and Jimin (4th place) also made it to the top streaming artist rankings. Additionally, Stray Kids (3rd place) and NewJeans (5th place) achieved impressive results.

Despite serving in the military, BTS members Jungkook and Jimin maintained high popularity, securing 2nd and 4th place, respectively. Stray Kids ranked 3rd, while NewJeans secured 5th place.

The most-streamed K-pop track worldwide was Jimin's solo title track "Who" from his second solo album. Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto)" (2nd) and "Standing Next to You" (3rd) followed, showcasing his exceptional popularity. Additionally, "Love Me Again" by fellow BTS member V (4th) further solidified the group's global dominance.

BLACKPINK's Rosé, who collaborated with pop star Bruno Mars on "APT.," ranked 6th, despite the song being released in October, due to its explosive global popularity.

The artist with the most streams worldwide this year was Taylor Swift, who accumulated 26.2 billion streams, securing the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive year. Following her were The Weeknd (2nd), Bad Bunny (3rd), Drake (4th), and Sabrina Carpenter (5th).

Meanwhile, when looking at Spotify users in South Korea, BTS's Jimin ranked as the most-loved artist for the second consecutive year. He was followed by Lim Young-woong (2nd), BTS's Jungkook (3rd), NewJeans (4th), and BTS's V (5th).
