The Netflix series Trunk, released on the 29th of last month, is a mysterious romance that explores a secret marriage service revealed by a trunk that appears by a lakeside, and the strange marriage story of two individuals caught up in it. The show weaves a narrative about people who, despite their wounds and loneliness, find love and redemption through the unusual and fresh concept of a "contract marriage."

What stands out the most is the presence of the actors, who delicately portray the complex and multi-layered inner lives of characters trapped within the framework of "marriage." Actors such as Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Jung Yun-ha, Jo I-geon, and Kim Dong-won captivated viewers with their powerful performances, shifting between mystery and romance. In particular, Seo Hyun-jin, who plays the lonely No In-ji left alone due to marriage, and Gong Yoo, who portrays Han Jung-won, a man who becomes painfully lonely after marriage, showcased a depth in their emotional acting that demonstrated their skill once again.

The newly released stills from the filming set remind viewers of the tender excitement and lingering emotions in the story. The images of Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo deeply focused on their scripts during filming particularly catch the eye.

The performances of the two actors, who filled every gap and space between the lines of the script, exceeded all expectations. They intricately portrayed the evolving relationship between No In-ji, whose profession is marriage, and Han Jung-won, who never believed in marriage, as well as the complex and subtle emotional dynamics. The behind-the-scenes images of Director Kim Kyu-tae and the actors, who continuously conversed for every scene and every shot, also capture the passion that went into the filming process.

Jeong Yun-ha, who played 'Lee Seo-yeon,' showing the desires and obsession of a woman whose love for her ex-husband, Han Jung-won (played by Gong Yoo), has gone astray, was a new discovery in Trunk. Additionally, rookie Jo I-geon, who took on the role of 'Yoon Ji-o' responsible for the romance and plot twists, and Kim Dong-won, who played 'Eom Tae-seong,' leading the mystery and tension, both delivered remarkable performances.

Trunk is currently streaming successfully on Netflix.
