Shin Ye-eun Makes Her Silver Screen Debut with Secret: Untold Melody Alongside D.O.

Actress Shin Ye-eun is stepping onto the silver screen with the film Secret: Untold Melody.

Secret: Untold Melody is a fantasy romance film that begins with a magical and miraculous moment when Yoo Jun and Jung Ah meet by chance in a campus rehearsal room that holds the secrets of time.

Shin Ye-eun takes on the role of In-hee, a violin major and head of her music department. Her character finds herself increasingly drawn to Yoo Jun (played by D.O.).

Speaking about preparing for the role, Shin Ye-eun shared, “Although I learned violin briefly as a child, I felt the need to start from scratch for this role. I reached out to my former instructors for help and relearned how to play the violin. During practice, I also relied on video calls with friends who majored in music to refine my posture, expressions, and overall performance vibe.”

Director Seo Yoo-min praised Shin Ye-eun's fit for the role, saying, “From the moment I first saw her, I thought she was just like In-hee. I wanted someone who embodied the confident and self-assured image of a modern college student, and Shin Ye-eun perfectly matched that vision.”

Meanwhile, Secret: Untold Melody is set to premiere in January.
