Premiered on January 3, the drama immediately garnered attention, surpassing a 5% viewership rating (Nielsen Korea). Supported by Pohang City in its production, 'Love Scout' is making waves with its fresh twist on romantic comedy tropes.

Starring Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk, the series revolves around an uptight and work-driven CEO of a headhunting company (played by Han Ji-min) and her multi-talented secretary (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), who excels in everything from parenting to household chores. The drama flips traditional rom-com roles, drawing intrigue with its unique setup. Han Ji-min portrays Kang Ji-yoon, a sharp and competent yet occasionally clumsy CEO, while Lee Jun-hyuk plays Yoo Eun-ho, a warm and resilient male lead. Viewers are eagerly following how their initially antagonistic relationship blossoms into romance.

Despite being in its early episodes, 'Love Scout' is already off to a strong start, recording a 5.2% rating for its debut and climbing to 6.5% by the second episode. It is also climbing the ranks of Korean drama charts on streaming platforms like Netflix, holding a top spot as of January 9.

The drama showcases several iconic locations in Pohang, including Yeonorang Seonyeo Theme Park, Igari Anchor Observatory, and Songnim Theme Street, thanks to production support from the city.

Songnim Theme Street features lush pine forests paired with vibrant purple fields of liriope, creating a breathtaking backdrop. Igari Anchor Observatory offers a unique floating design and panoramic ocean views, making it a must-see location.

Yeonorang Seonyeo Theme Park, blending traditional folklore with modern design, perfectly complements the drama’s atmospheric tone. Pohang City expects these landmarks, set to appear prominently in the latter half of the drama, to draw tourists inspired by the show’s scenic visuals.

Park Sang-jin, head of Pohang’s Tourism and Convention Promotion Bureau, told Yonhap News, "We aim to continue collaborating with diverse cultural content to boost regional tourism."

As 'Love Scout' continues to gain traction, it’s not just the love story capturing attention—Pohang’s picturesque charm is becoming a star in its own right.
