The Korean Drama Your Mom Can’t Stop Watching… Now at 2.38 Million Viewers Per Episode

KBS1’s daily drama My Merry Marriage has overtaken Cinderella Game to claim the No. 1 spot in TV ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea on February 13, the latest episode of My Merry Marriage drew an impressive 2.38 million viewers, achieving a 13.2% rating.

The episode focused on Gu Dan-soo (Park Sang-nam), who struggled with conflicting thoughts after recalling past conversations with his mother, Audrey (Choi Soo-rin). As he wrestled with whom to trust—his grandmother, who raised him, or someone else—Maeng Gong-hee (Park Ha-na) reassured him, saying, "I may not understand everything, but one thing is certain—both the chairman and Audrey are your family."

Meanwhile, Kang Myung-ja (Yang Mi-kyung) discovered a letter left behind by her mother, Im Soon-i (Ban Hyo-jung), alongside mourning clothes. The letter recounted Myung-ja’s childhood, recalling how she took on the responsibility of caring for her siblings without complaint. It ended with a heart-wrenching plea: "Can you forgive your foolish mother just one more time?" Upon reading it, Myung-ja broke down in tears, desperately searching for her mother but failing to find her.

The episode also featured Maeng Gong-hee preparing baby clothes and shoes, which surprised Jung Joo-ri (Jeon Soo-kyung), the mother of Seo Min-ki (Kim Sa-kwon). Gong-hee explained, "I bought them as a good luck charm, hoping for a healthy birth." Touched by her sincerity, Joo-ri offered to find a professional naming service for the baby, further strengthening their bond.

Another gripping moment came from Kang Ji-na (Lee Yeon-du), who staged a blind date at a location where her ex, Seo Min-ki, was having a meeting. When her date commented, "I heard you have a cold personality, but I guess that was just a rumor," she coyly replied, "If I seemed cold before, it’s because I wasn’t interested." The tension escalated when the man grabbed her hand despite her resistance, prompting Seo Min-ki to intervene, saying, "She told you to let go."

KBS2’s ‘Cinderella Game’ Drops to No. 2

KBS2’s Cinderella Game, starring Na Young-hee, Han Groo, Choi Sang, and Ji Soo-won, secured second place with 1.92 million viewers and a 10.6% rating. However, it saw a decline of 103,000 viewers compared to the previous week, marking a 0.6% drop in ratings.

Other programs also experienced slight fluctuations. KBS1’s Morning Forum attracted 1.5 million viewers with an 8.3% rating, down by 100,000 viewers. MBC Newsdesk followed a similar trend, losing 231,000 viewers to record an 8.2% rating with 1.48 million viewers. On the other hand, KBS News 9 saw a modest increase of 61,000 viewers, reaching 1.41 million with an 8.2% rating.

Meanwhile, TV CHOSUN’s Miss Three Rang, a nationwide talent competition, gained traction, with its first segment drawing 881,000 viewers (3.99% rating) and its third segment reaching 827,000 viewers (3.89%), reflecting a significant rise from the previous week. Yoo Jae-suk's You Quiz on the Block came at ninth, while Desperate Mrs. Seonju came at tenth in the overall ratings chart.
