2PM member and actor Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha are teaming up for an upcoming tvN drama, drawing attention as they take on powerful roles in a story set against one of South Korea’s most turbulent times.

tvN’s new drama 'Taepung Sangsa' (working title), written by Jang Hyun and directed by Lee Na-jung, follows the journey of a young CEO struggling to save his father’s small business in the wake of the 1997 IMF financial crisis. The series captures the resilience of ordinary people who fought to survive in an era when it felt like the world was collapsing.
Lee Jun-ho, who cemented his status as a hitmaker with 'The Red Sleeve' and 'King the Land,' is set to take on the role of Kang Tae-pung, a privileged Apgujeong socialite who has lived an easy life thanks to his successful father. However, when the 1997 financial crisis topples his family business, he finds himself doing whatever it takes to save family company 'Taepung Sangsa' from ruin. His transformation from a carefree heir to a determined leader fighting for survival is already generating buzz among fans.

Kim Min-ha, who gained international recognition through 'Pachinko,' plays Oh Mi-seon, a hardworking staff of Taepung Sangsa. A responsible eldest daughter with a strong sense of duty, she shoulders various responsibilities to keep things running. Alongside Kang Tae-pung, she fights to protect the company, showcasing the strength and determination of a career-driven woman navigating an era of uncertainty.
