BIGBANG’s Daesung is making his long-awaited comeback as a solo artist. According to his agency, R&D Company (D-LABLE), Daesung will release his first mini-album, D’s WAVE, on April 8 through various online music platforms.

To build anticipation, Daesung unveiled a teaser image on his official social media channels on March 17. In the striking image, he is surrounded by various stand microphones, drawing attention to his presence as a vocalist. Dressed in all-black attire, Daesung exudes a chic and charismatic aura, heightening excitement for his new release.

Following his emotional ballad single 'Falling Slowly' last year, fans are eager to see what he will bring to the table with his upcoming album. Meanwhile, Daesung continues to prove himself as a versatile entertainer through his YouTube channel, ‘Zip Daesung'. In less than a year since launching, his channel has already amassed approximately 1.13 million subscribers, solidifying his popularity beyond music. He was also honored as the Male Celebrity YouTuber of the Year at the 2025 Korea First Brand Awards, further establishing his presence as a multi-talented entertainer.

Beyond his solo ventures, Daesung has been actively showcasing his strong bond with his BIGBANG members. He took the stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards, delivering a flawless performance, and later made a guest appearance at Taeyang’s encore concert, where he teased his own upcoming solo concert in April—a revelation that sent fans into a frenzy.

Additionally, Daesung joined G-Dragon’s variety show 'Good Day', where he reunited with G-Dragon and Taeyang, contributing to the creative energy of the show as a proud BIGBANG member.
