New Chapter Begins as Moon Geun-young and Kim Hyang-gi Share Big News for Major Projects
Actresses Moon Geun-young and Kim Hyang-gi are celebrating a double dose of good news, as both stars have officially renewed their contracts with their longtime agency, CRE Company.

On March 27, CRE Company announced, “We’re delighted to continue our journey with Moon Geun-young and Kim Hyang-gi. Based on mutual trust and respect, we will do our utmost to support their stable and thriving acting careers.”
Moon Geun-young made waves last year with her role in Hellbound Season 2 on Netflix, where she played a teacher who spirals into fanatical madness. Despite her limited screen time, her powerful performance left a lasting impression and was widely praised as one of the series’ standout moments. The actress first rose to fame through classic K-dramas like Goddess of Fire, Cinderella's Step Sister, and Painter of the Wind. She also charmed listeners as a special DJ on MBC FM4U’s Lee Seok-hoon’s Brunch Café, rounding out a well-balanced year of activity.

Now fans are eagerly awaiting her next project, wondering what powerful performance she’ll deliver in 2025.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyang-gi has been steadily building momentum with a packed schedule. This year, she’s set to star in multiple upcoming projects, starting with Cashero, a Netflix series where she plays Bang Eun-mi, a unique superhero who gains telekinetic powers proportional to the calories she consumes—a bold departure from her previous roles.
She’ll also return to the big screen in Hallan, a period drama set in Jeju that follows the survival struggles of a mother and daughter. Additionally, she has wrapped filming on the film Just Breathing Beside Me, which is also slated for release.
CRE Company currently manages a roster of talented actors, including Moon Geun-young, Kim Hyang-gi, Yang So-min, Kang Sang-jun, Kim Jung-jin, Kim Da-hin, and Kang Ji-woo. With both Moon and Kim kicking off 2024 with renewed partnerships and ambitious new roles, expectations are running high for what’s next.
