BTS member Jin is receiving more messages than ever—not for a chart-topping hit or an award win, but for his appearance on Netflix’s newest variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B (Korean title: 대환장 기안장).

During a press conference held on April 15 at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Seoul, Jin spoke alongside fellow cast members Kian84 (Kim Hee-min) and Ji Ye-eun, and producers Jung Hyo-min, Hwang Yun-seo, and Lee So-min to share behind-the-scenes stories from the show.
Jin: “I’ve Never Gotten So Many Messages in My Life”
“I usually get maybe four or five texts when BTS wins an award,” Jin joked. “I don’t have that many friends. But after this show aired, more than ten people messaged me saying it was hilarious. That’s never happened before in my life. I’m really thankful to the CEO and to Ye-eun.”

Jin added that Kian’s Bizarre B&B was his first official schedule after being discharged from the military.
“But the moment I arrived, I immediately hated the CEO,” he said playfully. “I remembered how inspired I felt to drag J-Hope into military content the day after he was discharged, too.”
What Is Kian’s Bizarre B&B About?
A wild and unpredictable variety show set on Ulleungdo Island, Kian’s Bizarre B&B brings together Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun as they run a guesthouse filled with chaos, laughter, and unexpected moments. The show embraces “Kian-style thinking,” blending reality, absurdity, and heart.
In this unreleased clip from Kian’s Bizarre B&B, Kian84 and BTS’s Jin take on the role of unexpected “road counselors,” offering humorous and oddly philosophical advice to guests who share their life dilemmas. Their back-and-forth banter mixes absurdity with sincerity, creating a quirky but heartwarming moment that captures the show's offbeat charm.

Three episodes were released on April 8, with additional episodes dropping on April 15 and 22. The full series will span nine episodes.
