A daring K-pop and C-pop collaboration promoting self-love and confidence goes global.
(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and top Chinese artist Jike Junyi have come together for a powerful cross-cultural collaboration.

On April 16, the duo released their collaborative single Glow Up across major music platforms. The track is available in two versions—a duet and a Miyeon solo—and marks the first release from the Red Hearts’ Series (also called Hearts' Series), a new music project by Chinese streaming giant NetEase Cloud Music.
Miyeon shared her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Working with Jike Junyi was an unforgettable experience. I hope we can meet fans on stage together someday.”
Jike Junyi echoed the enthusiasm: “It was my first time working with a Korean artist, and it felt refreshing and exciting. I hope listeners feel the freedom and joy we aimed to share.”
Glow Up is a bright, energetic track with a hopeful message that encourages listeners to love themselves as they are. Its witty and creative lyrics—centered around loving the reflection in the mirror—promote self-esteem, courage, and embracing personal growth.

Jike Junyi rose to fame after placing third in the inaugural season of The Voice of China in 2012. She has since become a beloved singer and actress in China, with hits like Colorful Black and starring roles in films.
This unexpected collaboration between Miyeon, a standout voice in K-pop, and Jike Junyi, a celebrated name in Chinese music, has captured global attention.
Meanwhile, Miyeon continues to shine both as a member of (G)I-DLE and a solo artist. She debuted solo with her first mini album MY in 2022, and more recently released her self-written track Sky Walking, further establishing her unique musical identity.
