Park Bo-gum's Bruised Rebellion Against Corruption.
Forget the gentle Yang Gwan-sik from ''When Life Gives You Tangerines''—Park Bo-gum is back with blood on his face and fire in his eyes in a brand-new drama.
JTBC has confirmed that its new weekend series ''Good Boy'' will premiere on May 31, releasing a striking teaser poster to build anticipation.

This comic-action youth investigation drama tells the story of former Olympic medalists who become police officers through special recruitment and fight against a world full of corruption and foul play—now wearing badges instead of medals around their necks. What’s generating early buzz is Park Bo-gum’s drastic transformation. In the newly released teaser, he appears bruised and bloodied, both on his face and fists. His intense expression and clenched jaw show a side of him viewers have never seen before, sparking curiosity and excitement.

In ''Good Boy'', Park Bo-gum takes on the role of Yoon Dong-joo, a former national boxing team member who becomes a rookie cop in the violent crimes unit. Unafraid to throw punches when faced with injustice, Dong-joo is a fiery young officer who stands up for those with integrity and good hearts, refusing to compromise with those who cheat and exploit others.
News of Park Bo-gum’s physical preparation for the role has also become a hot topic. It’s been revealed that he trained for over six months, spending one hour a day on strength training and two hours on boxing.
Park Bo-gum won’t be the only one to watch—Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok are joining forces for what promises to be unbeatable chemistry.
''Good Boy'' will premiere at 10:40 PM on Saturday, May 31. With Park Bo-gum’s bold transformation and powerful youth-driven storytelling, the drama is already being watched closely as a potential game-changer in the K-drama scene.
