Jung Hyung-don Playfully “Exposes” G-Dragon, But Reveals Something Much Deeper After 7 Years

Comedian Jung Hyung-don, affectionately known as “G-Dragon’s guy” thanks to his legendary chemistry with GD on 'Infinite Challenge' and 'Good Day', recently “spilled the tea” on his longtime friend G-Dragon—with a dose of humor.

Jung Hyung-don showcased his one-of-a-kind chemistry with G-Dragon through their playful back-and-forth. On Good Day, G-Dragon laughed and said, “Jung Hyung-don is the only one who talks to me like this,” revealing their close friendship with a big, happy smile.

On May 1, a teaser clip titled “He only contacts me when the cameras are rolling—Jung Hyung-don talks G-Dragon” was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Choi Hwa-jung & Kim Ho-young’s Missed You'.

In the clip, host Kim Ho-young commented on how great the chemistry between the two stars looked. Jung responded with a playful jab, “He only reaches out when the cameras are on.” The quip drew laughter, but the love and respect between the two was crystal clear.

Jung Hyung-don quickly added that he’s genuinely grateful for G-Dragon. “I’m thankful. G-Dragon always makes me feel comfortable,” he said, reflecting on their recent reunion after seven years through the show Good Day.

“Even though it’s been seven years, it didn’t feel awkward at all,” he noted, adding with a smile, “When we first met, he was in his 20s. Now he’s in his late 30s… it hits differently.”

Jung shared a grounded view of friendship. “You don’t need to stay in constant contact to call someone my person.”

He emphasized that even without regular communication, they continue to cheer each other on quietly, drawing praise for his mature perspective on relationships and prompting viewers to reflect on the meaning of genuine connection.
