Former DIA member Ahn Som-i refutes shocking rumors linking her to an adult venue and sponsorship of TWS’ Dohoon. Her agency confirms legal steps to address the defamation.

Former DIA member Ahn Som-i has spoken out against a series of shocking and defamatory rumors that recently spread across online communities.

The controversy began when an anonymous user claimed that Ahn Som-i was a madam at a high-end adult entertainment venue known as “10 Pro”, and had acted as a sponsor for TWS member Dohoon. The claims quickly went viral due to their scandalous nature, prompting a swift and firm response from Ahn’s agency, Modenberry Korea.

In an official statement released on May 7, the agency called the allegations “entirely false,” describing them as a serious violation of personal rights and reputation. The agency confirmed that although the original post had been taken down, they had already collected multiple pieces of evidence from netizens and would be pursuing criminal charges without leniency.

“Ahn Som-i has never worked at 10 Pro, nor has she ever met or interacted with TWS’ Dohoon,” the statement clarified. “This is a clear case of defamation affecting not only Ahn but unrelated third parties as well.”

Ahn Som-i debuted in 2017 as a member of girl group DIA, later transitioning into a career as a broadcast jockey (BJ) and variety entertainer. Her work in adult-content-adjacent streaming platforms has previously drawn controversy, but she has maintained an active presence across online platforms.

The agency concluded by stating that the matter will be handled with full legal rigor, promising no settlements or leniency for those responsible for spreading false and damaging rumors.
