At the press conference for Tastefully Yours, Go Min-si shared how her experience on the variety show Jinny’s Kitchen 2 with Lee Seo-jin helped her embody her new chef character in the upcoming drama.
On May 8, the cast and creators of the Genie TV original drama Tastefully Yours gathered at the Stanford Hotel Grand Ballroom in Sangam, Seoul, for the official press conference.
Actor Go Min-si, who plays a fine dining chef in the series, was asked if her time on the tvN reality show Jinny’s Kitchen 2 with Lee Seo-jin contributed to her performance.

She replied, “It definitely helped. In Jinny’s Kitchen, I focused mostly on washing dishes and using a slicer. But for this role, I had to actually learn how to use knives. That hands-on experience made it much less intimidating. Without it, I think I would’ve struggled.”
In the drama, Go portrays Mo Yeon-joo, a passionate and solitary chef who runs a hidden, one-table fine dining restaurant in Jeonju.

A Kitchen Romance Begins
Set in the culinary world, Tastefully Yours follows the story of Han Beom-woo (played by Kang Ha-neul), a third-generation chaebol heir turned “recipe hunter” who acquires small restaurants in his bid to inherit a food empire. His path collides with Mo Yeon-joo, the fiercely independent chef of an unbranded fine dining restaurant.
The main trailer for Tastefully Yours, released by ENA, offers a tantalizing preview of the chemistry-fueled clash between two unlikely leads: chaebol heir Han Beom-woo (played by Kang Ha-neul) and fiercely independent chef Mo Yeon-joo (played by Go Min-si).
In the teaser, Beom-woo is introduced as a “recipe hunter”—a cold, calculating corporate heir determined to acquire unique small restaurants in order to inherit his family’s powerful food empire. His journey leads him to Jeonju, where he crosses paths with Yeon-joo, the stubborn owner of a hidden, no-sign one-table restaurant that prioritizes heart over hype.
As their personalities and priorities collide in the kitchen, the trailer hints at a dynamic “enemies-to-lovers” progression. What begins as a battle of business vs. passion slowly simmers into something more intimate, as they clash, cook, and challenge one another’s views on success, food, and trust.
Go Min-si's character brings heat with her sharp knives and sharper attitude, while Kang Ha-neul’s Beom-woo adds corporate chill and quiet vulnerability. Their scenes unfold with tension, laughter, and undeniable romantic tension—blending savory realism with bittersweet emotions.
“A kitchen isn’t just about food,” Yeon-joo says in the trailer. “It’s about who you are when you cook for someone.”
With its unique setting in Jeonju’s culinary scene, and the pairing of two of K-drama’s most charismatic stars, Tastefully Yours promises not only a flavorful story but one with emotional depth and slow-burn growth.
The drama premieres May 12 at 10 PM KST on ENA, with additional streaming available on Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile.
