On May 10, the same day her agency NUN Company announced the news, Kim Bo-ra took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her recent appearance at the Jeonju International Film Festival, where she served as MC for the closing ceremony.

Alongside the photos, she wrote a single word: “The end.”

Symbolic Phrases and Quiet Strength

Among the photos Kim shared were cue cards from the ceremony, featuring poignant lines such as:

“This moment is not the end.”

“We will cross another boundary.”

“We were happy.”

The timing of the post—on the day her divorce was made public—drew attention for its poetic, perhaps reflective undertone.

“We ask that the public refrain from spreading speculative or provocative rumors regarding this matter.”

From Co-Stars to Former Spouses

Kim Bo-ra and director Jo Barun first met on the set of the 2021 horror film “The Grotesque Mansion”, where they formed a connection. After nearly three years of dating, the couple married in June 2023. Less than a year later, they’ve chosen to part ways.
