When asked about her most memorable on-screen partner, BIBI didn’t hesitate: it was Kim Nam-gil, her co-star in The Fiery Priest 2. Reflecting on their action scenes together, she recalled a moment when he had to lift her for a dramatic high kick move.

“He’s really tall and has these super long limbs, so he looked very slim. I was honestly worried he might break because I thought I was too heavy!” she said, laughing.

She went on to praise Kim Nam-gil’s physical prowess and professionalism, adding:

“He’s known for being extremely athletic—he’s tried almost every sport—and he moves incredibly fast. He was seriously impressive during the action scenes.”

A Scene to Remember—and a Scar to Prove It

BIBI also opened up about one of the most grueling moments in her acting career, while filming a chase scene in Gangnam B-Side. The sequence required her to run non-stop for 12 hours in a thin dress, in temperatures plunging to -15°C (5°F).

“That was the lowest weight I’ve ever been in my life,” she confessed. “I ended up needing vascular surgery afterward because my veins had expanded, and I still deal with some of the aftereffects.”

The revelation shocked viewers and fellow guests alike, highlighting just how physically demanding her acting journey has been behind the scenes.
