BTS’s Jin Turns Heads as a “Couple” with YENA — and Breaks Global Records Again!

BTS’s Jin is sweeping global charts with his second mini-album Echo, and now he's caught fans off guard by teaming up with singer YENA in a surprise duet that has everyone buzzing.

On May 16, Jin released his new song Loser, featuring YENA, across major music platforms. The track playfully portrays the ups and downs of a couple’s relationship—sometimes sweet and romantic, other times full of bickering like a daily habit. YENA brings her signature vibrant charm to the duet, creating a fresh and delightful chemistry with Jin.

What makes this release even more special is that Loser marks YENA’s first-ever feature on a track. Her energetic vocals and unique tone blend seamlessly with the upbeat sound, amplifying the song’s mood and appeal.

Fans were treated to even more when the two artists dropped a live performance clip on May 18 via the YouTube channel 'dingo music'. Jin and YENA showcased their musical synergy dressed in stylish black and denim looks, their voices radiating warmth and joy in a performance that left fans smiling ear to ear.

To celebrate the release of Echo, Jin also hosted a special offline event on May 17 titled Don't Say You Love Me @Seongsu, held at Anderson C in Seongsu, Seoul. While some fans couldn’t attend in person, the event was streamed globally through the Weverse and TikTok live platforms.

At the end of the performance, Jin emotionally shared, “Your support stays in my heart as a lasting echo. This is the happiest time of my life. Thanks to ARMY, I get to be a singer, make music, and perform. I’m deeply grateful for your presence.”

According to his agency BIGHIT MUSIC, Echo topped the iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart in 63 countries within hours of its release—including Germany, the UK, France, Japan, and Brazil—demonstrating Jin’s continued global impact.
