Breakout Star of 'The Devil’s Plan' Becomes a Mom After 4 Years of Marriage

Lee Si-won, actress and breakout star of Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan, has become a mother.

According to an exclusive report by Edaily on May 20, Lee recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both the mother and newborn are reported to be in good health and are currently resting and recovering well.

Her agency, KX Entertainment, confirmed the news on the same day, stating, “Lee Si-won gave birth to a daughter last month. Both mother and baby are doing well.”

Lee made her acting debut in 2012 through the historical drama Dream of the Emperor, and has since built a steady career with roles in hit series like Misaeng, All About My Mom, Queen of Mystery, Suits, and Maestra. Known for her solid performances, she’s been praised for her versatility and emotional depth on screen.

A graduate of Seoul National University’s Business School, Lee is also widely recognized as one of Korea’s top “brainy beauties.” In 2023, she drew widespread attention with her appearance on Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan, where she charmed audiences with her intelligence, sincerity, and strategic gameplay.

Lee stood out for her sharp tactics and fair gameplay, earning the nickname “Kingmaker” after significantly contributing to Ha Seok-jin’s ultimate victory. The show’s popularity soared globally, leading to the production of a second season.
