On May 26, global spirits brand Suntory Global Spirits unveiled a new campaign for its popular bourbon whiskey 'Jim Beam', announcing Jang Wonyoung as the official model for its latest product, Jim Beam Highball Plain. The drink, known for its clean and refreshing taste, is now paired with Wonyoung’s youthful and zesty image to connect with a vibrant 20-something audience.

Even before the official announcement, teaser clips featuring Jang Wonyoung had already gone viral through Jim Beam’s social media channels. Her cheerful, radiant energy is set to bring relatable and light-hearted highball moments to life—something global fans are already looking forward to.
At one point, fans speculated that Jang Wonyoung might be making her acting debut after a dramatic clip surfaced online. But as it turns out, the buzzworthy footage was actually part of a new commercial for 'Jim Beam'.
Shot like a cinematic mystery thriller, the ad has the look and feel of a real film. According to Jim Beam’s official YouTube channel, the full version will be released on June 9 under the title 'Shadow of Lost Time'. The stylishly filmed piece has sparked major anticipation among viewers.
Jang Wonyoung stars alongside actor Park Jung-min, and the two are set to deliver performances that blur the line between commercial and cinema—adding to the excitement around this high-production campaign.
A Jim Beam brand representative expressed high hopes, stating, “Through this campaign with our new model Jang Wonyoung, we aim to convey a bright, playful, yet sincere brand identity.”
