She becomes the top Korean celebrity in terms of Instagram followers
BLACKPINK member Lisa has surpassed 95 million followers on Instagram.

As of the 19th, her Instagram followers reached 95 million, making her the top Korean celebrity in terms of followers. According to Guinness World Records, Lisa has set the record for the highest number of Instagram followers among K-pop artists, achieving this milestone within five years since opening her account in June 2018.
In March, Lisa became the first domestic celebrity to surpass 90 million followers on Instagram, and in April, she exceeded 92 million followers. At this pace, it is expected that she will soon reach 100 million followers.
Among Asians, Lisa ranks third in terms of followers. Virat Kohli holds the top spot with approximately 250 million followers, followed by Israeli actress Gal Gadot, the lead actress of the movie 'Wonder Woman,' with approximately 140 million followers. Globally, Lisa ranks 38th.
Lisa has also been ranked as the top-searched K-pop female idol for the first half of 2023, according to analysis conducted by Google. Particularly, based on cumulative trend data from Google, Lisa has been recognized as the most searched K-pop female idol from 2017 to 2023.


In terms of followers among Korean celebrities, BLACKPINK's Jennie ranks second with approximately 79.85 million followers on her personal Instagram account, followed by BLACKPINK's Jisoo with approximately 73.87 million followers. In fourth place is BTS's official Instagram account with approximately 73.59 million followers, and in fifth place is BLACKPINK's Rosé with approximately 72.47 million followers.

Lisa, a Thai national born in 1997 and currently 27 years old, debuted in 2016 with BLACKPINK's first single album, 'Square One.' The group, to which Lisa belongs, has produced numerous hit songs such as 'Playing with Fire,' 'As If It's Your Last,' 'DDU-DU DDU-DU,' 'Kill This Love,' 'How You Like That,' 'Pink Venom,' and 'Shut Down,' propelling them to become global stars.
