Yoo Yeon-seok Temporarily Postpones Fan Meeting to Mourn the Tragic Incident at Dongduk Women's University

Actor Yoo Yeon-seok's 20th debut anniversary fan meeting has been temporarily postponed.

On the 28th, Yoo Yeon-seok's agency, KingKong by Starship, announced that his 20th debut anniversary fan meeting, "Yoo Yeon-seok's Understanding," scheduled for July 1st, has been temporarily postponed.

KingKong by Starship stated, "Considering the recent accident near the venue, it has been determined that it would be difficult to hold the performance as planned. Therefore, we have unavoidably decided to postpone the fan meeting." They further added, "The schedule and venue for actor Yoo Yeon-seok's 20th debut anniversary fan meeting will be announced later through an official notice. The previously purchased tickets will be canceled through the ticketing platform."

KingKong by Starship expressed their apologies, saying, "We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been waiting for the performance for a long time and deliver this unfortunate news once again." They requested understanding for the unavoidable postponement due to the accident and conveyed their condolences.

Yoo Yeon-seok's 20th debut anniversary fan meeting was initially scheduled to take place at Samsung Hall in Ewha Womans University in April. However, it was previously postponed due to a fire in the parking lot.

The fan meeting was planned to be held at the Centennial Memorial Hall in Dongduk Women's University. However, it was postponed once again after an incident on the 5th, where a student at Dongduk University was hit by a garbage truck while on her way to school, resulting in a declaration of brain death and eventual death on the 7th.
