MC Mong Under Suspicions of Attempting to Sign EXO Kai and Baekhyun

MC Mong is facing suspicions of attempting to sign EXO members Baekhyun and Kai.

On the 18th, TenAsia revealed that they had obtained a transcript in which MC Mong stated, "I really want to bring Kai and Baekhyun. I'm working hard on it." It was reported that this conversation was recorded around January of last year.

Regarding this matter, MC Mong's agency, Million Market, stated that they will look into it.

Previously, EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin expressed their dissatisfaction with SM Entertainment in June regarding settlement issues and their exclusive contracts, and they expressed their intention to terminate their contracts.

SM Entertainment claimed that external forces had approached Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin with false information to induce them to violate their exclusive contracts, and MC Mong was mentioned. MC Mong's side denied the suspicions, stating that they did not engage in any deliberate interference that could cause disputes between SM and EXO-CBX.

Amidst conflicting claims, SM Entertainment and EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin announced on June 19th that they had reached a mutual agreement through a joint statement.

Meanwhile, EXO recently released their 7th full-length album, 'EXIST'.
