The episode, titled “Chaotic Stage Special,” will feature a vibrant lineup including singer Noh Sa-yeon, entertainer Hyunyoung, BIBI, and YouTuber Charles Enter.

During the show, BIBI shares that her popularity skyrocketed after her previous Radio Star appearance, especially thanks to her viral hit “Bam Yang Gang.” “It was amazing to hear artists like Lee Hyori, Kwon Jung-yeol, 10CM, Lee Ji-hye, Cho Hye-ryun, and Jang Ki-ha sing it. But Lee Hyori especially stood out—she’s a brand and a whole era in herself,” BIBI says.

BIBI also opens up about her growth as an actress under her real name, Kim Hyung-seo. Reflecting on her role in SBS's The Fiery Priest 2, she recalls working with Kim Nam-gil as a standout experience. “He’s got such strong physicality and his action scenes are so intense that I was genuinely worried something might break during filming,” she jokes.

Her acting career is already racking up accolades. BIBI won Best New Actress at the Baeksang Arts Awards for her film Hopeless, and received an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards for The Fiery Priest 2. Her speeches made waves—at Baeksang, she said, “I thank the humanity that created art,” while at SBS, she humbly blurted, “I was about to leave since I didn’t win Rookie of the Year, but I guess I’m… excellent?”

She also speaks candidly about her identity as an artist. “I was too free-spirited to be an idol, but not quite defined enough to be seen as a musician,” she admits. Recalling one music award show, BIBI shares how emotional she got: “I didn’t really feel welcomed anywhere, but when I saw the smiles from senior artists, I couldn’t help but cry.”

During the taping, she performed two potential title tracks from her upcoming album because she couldn’t choose one—leaving the hosts and staff thoroughly impressed. As a singer-songwriter, BIBI showcased songs she penned herself, earning thunderous applause.

She also opens up about a wardrobe mishap at the Waterbomb Festival. “I was taking off my T-shirt over my swimsuit, and the strings on my swimsuit came undone,” she recalls. “Thankfully, I had taped everything down, so I avoided a major embarrassment.”

Looking ahead to her world tour, BIBI touches on the realities of her company’s revenue structure and shares her ambition: “Seeing my staff cramped in economy class, I really want to succeed to the point where we can fly by private jet.” She adds, “Even for the Korean shows, we’ve got a 10-member band and 16 dancers. I want to deliver a complete, high-quality performance.”

BIBI’s honest, funny, and heartfelt stories will air on Radio Star at 10:30 PM KST on May 14.
