Set to make a special appearance in the drama Taxi Driver 3
Actor Yoon Shi-yoon (38) is making a return to the screen with a special appearance in SBS’s upcoming drama Taxi Driver 3.
According to a May 14 report by Ilgan Sports, Yoon will appear in a special role, taking charge of a specific storyline within the series.

Taxi Driver is based on the webtoon of the same name and follows the secretive Rainbow Taxi Company and its driver Kim Do-gi, who delivers vigilante justice on behalf of victims failed by the legal system.
Following the success of seasons 1 (2021) and 2 (2023), Taxi Driver 3 is currently in production and is slated to premiere this November.
Yoon Shi-yoon debuted in 2009 through the hit sitcom High Kick Through the Roof, and rose to stardom with the drama King of Baking, Kim Tak-gu. He has since starred in a variety of dramas including Flower Boy Next Door, Prime Minister and I, Mirror of the Witch, Hit the Top, Grand Prince, Your Honor, and The Nokdu Flower.
In 2022, he received the Excellence Award for Long-form Drama at the KBS Drama Awards for It’s Beautiful Now. On the big screen, he has appeared in films such as Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp, The Birth, and When Our Love Remains as Scent.
After starring in the 2023 film When Our Love Remains as Scent, Yoon took a brief hiatus and studied abroad in the Philippines to focus on language learning—a move that drew public interest. Recently, he signed an exclusive contract with the newly launched agency R&C Entertainment and is now reviewing future projects.
SBS has confirmed that Taxi Driver Season 3 is set to premiere in the second half of 2025. The highly anticipated season will feature a star-studded cast, including returning leads Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram—with the exciting addition of Yoon Si-yoon, who joins in a special appearance role.
Yoon's unexpected return has sparked buzz, especially after he spent time studying abroad in the Philippines, stepping back from the spotlight. His role is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the new season’s storyline, adding to fans’ growing excitement.
With its signature blend of action, emotion, and justice-driven plots, Taxi Driver 3 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2025.
