RIIZE’s Sohee and Sungchan recently appeared on an episode of Narae’s Table, where they opened up about their new music, dorm life, and the idol seniors they’ve built close bonds with.
On May 21, RIIZE members Sungchan and Sohee made a guest appearance on the second episode of the YouTube variety series Narae’s Table (나래식), hosted by comedian Park Na-rae.

As they promoted their first full-length album Odyssey, the duo gave fans a behind-the-scenes look into their current living situation. The group’s six members are divided across two dorm floors—Sungchan, Wonbin, and Eunseok reside on the upper floor, while Shotaro, Sohee, and Anton live downstairs.
Now entering their third year of dorm life, both Sungchan and Sohee expressed their desire to keep living together for the foreseeable future. Sungchan, in particular, shared his attachment to their shared space, saying with a laugh, “I’m not planning to leave. I want to stay here as long as I can. I’m going to stake my claim and hold out until everyone else moves out.”
When Park Na-rae mentioned Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, who famously stayed in a dorm for 18 years, and jokingly dared Sungchan to break that record, he played along: “So… how can I get the others to leave first?”
Sohee agreed with a chuckle, adding, “Why move out if there’s no reason to?”
Sohee on Idol Sunbae's

Sohee also shared a heartfelt moment about the support he received from SHINee’s Key, one of the senior artists at SM Entertainment.
During the same episode of Narae’s Table, host Park Na-rae mentioned how idols like Key and Block B’s P.O. are well known for their kindness toward junior labelmates. Sohee agreed with a smile, saying, “Key hyung really looked out for me.”
He then recalled a specific memory from his early days as a music show MC. “It was my first time hosting, and our promotions happened to overlap. I was still very inexperienced and unsure of myself, but Key told me, ‘Sohee, just do whatever you want.’ That gave me so much confidence.”

Later in the conversation, Park playfully asked Sohee to blink twice if the next question was too difficult, then asked, “So who’s the most supportive senior at SM?”
Without missing a beat, Sohee blinked twice, causing everyone to burst into laughter. Trying to recover, he added, “We have so many incredible seniors at our company… it’s honestly impossible to choose just one.”
RIIZE's "ODYSSEY" Out Now
Meanwhile, RIIZE officially released their highly anticipated first full-length album ODYSSEY on May 19. The title track’s music video, Fly Up, quickly gained massive traction and is already trending at No. 1 on YouTube, signaling the group’s growing global momentum.
Adding to the excitement, RIIZE is gearing up for their concert tour RIIZING LOUD, which kicks off in Seoul on July 4. The tour will take the group across major cities in Asia, giving fans the chance to experience their energy and live performances up close for the first time on a large-scale stage.
